Chicken and Egg
Tuesday, September 13th, 2005My first assistant Bobby said that this world is packed with the problem of chicken and egg. He is so damn right. ~_~ Let me give you a few examples:
To install a SCIS CD-ROM drive, you need a driver that is on a CD. But without the driver, you will not get your CD-ROM working…
To get a job, you need work experience. But without work experience, you are not likely to get a job…
To get a great photography job, you need a great portfolio. But without any income, you are not going to have the money to build a great portfolio…
Arrrrr!!!!!
And here is my…
Something new: I got a new hard drive and my computer is running nice and smooth now, woot!
Something old: I found a project that I did for my Career and Personal Planning class back when I was in grade 12. It was a card that tells other people something about you. Under "5-year goal," I wrote "I wish to graduate from UBC and have a job in the field of computing science." 9 years later, I’m working on my undergradate degree in criminology at SFU. ~_~
Something borrowed: A found a CD that I borrowed from my friend back in highschool in a pile of mess in the basement. What should I do with it? ><
Something blue: It took me and my brother four hours to figure out how to get RAID 1 working on my computer, sigh.
